For the time being SAIL & RACE stopped its activities
Henning Rocholl, owner and General Event Manager of SAIL & RACE, has taken on a role as CEO of the Norddeutcher Regatta Verein (NRV) in 2010, including supervision of rebuilding the NRV Alster lake clubhouse in Hamburg. Consequently the activities of SAIL & RACE are suspended for the time being.
“I am glad to be now helping the NRV in the promotion of offshore sailing,” said Henning. “Race Director Alan Green and myself established a reputation for SAIL & RACE as a leader in the field. Being both members of the NRV we are happy to support the club’s offshore activities and in particular the joint venture of the NRV with the St Petersburg Yacht Club (Russia) in the organization of the longest non-stop race in the Baltic.”
